Eight Advisory Avocats supports the Moma Group in raising capital for Butler Industries
Eight Advisory has conducted the tax and financial due diligence for Moma Group in connection with the opening of its capital to Butler Industries.
On 6 December, Moma Group, a major player in the event and festive catering sector, officially announced the entry of Butler Industries, a renowned investor in the French catering industry, as a significant minority shareholder and the appointment of Walter Butler as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Founded in 1997 by Benjamin Patou, the Moma Group now has around thirty branches and over 1,200 employees, generating a turnover of 120 million euros. Thank you to this partnership, the company intends to strengthen its position in France while expanding its international presence to compete with Paris Society, which was recently acquired by Accor for 330 million euros.
Butler Industries has invested in the Moma Group to support its growth, with the possibility of increasing its stake at a later date.
