Eight Advisory supports Keensight Capital in the minority acquisition of e-Attestations
Eight Advisory has advised Keensight Capital on its minority acquisition of e-Attestations, a Paris-based software vendor specialising in supplier rating management solutions. This transaction, in the form of an OBO, was carried out with an investment of €30 million from Keensight Capital.
Thanks to this strategic transaction, e-Attestations has reached a new milestone with the arrival of its first shareholder fund. The Massy-based SaaS software company, which specialises in document management for supplier and subcontractor compliance, had previously received financing from Entrepreneur Invest in 2020 in the form of convertible bonds repayable at maturity. Today, Keensight Capital is investing €30 million to acquire a minority stake in an OBO. Emmanuel Poidevin, founder and chairman, and Pascal Gué, managing director, will retain their majority stake of 69%. This transaction is secured by unitranche debt from Idinvest IM.
This expansion reflects the growth in its customer base to 2,000 from a wide range of sectors, including energy, telecommunications, retail, luxury goods, housing, automotive and the public sector. Its offering of document management solutions to verify supplier and subcontractor compliance, with a focus on ESG criteria, has contributed to its growing success.
Its collaboration with Keensight Capital, a private equity fund, paves the way for international expansion and organic and acquisitive growth opportunities for e-Attestations.
Nabil Saci, Transaction Services Partner at Eight Advisory, said, “Our participation in the purchase of e-Attestations in partnership with Keensight Capital is a testament to our industry expertise. Our in-depth knowledge of the software sector allowed us to work effectively with our client. We are proud to have contributed to this strategic transaction, which opens promising new perspectives for e-Attestations in terms of development, international expansion and growth opportunities.”
