The Econocom group supports the digital transformation of companies by providing the comprehensive expertise required to implement digital projects for the development and transformation of the workplace, infrastructure, audiovisual technology and digital signage. Econocom is present in 16 countries and employs more than 8,800 people. The Group is listed on Euronext in Brussels, on the Bel Mid and Family Business indexes.
Les Abeilles provides towage services on the high seas, assistance and salvage for ships in distress and pollution response services on all French coasts. The company was founded in 1864 and has been a partner of the French government and the French navy for over a century.
For Econocom, this sale is part of the “One econocom” strategic plan for the period 2024-2028, which provides for the disposal of assets that are not strategic to the core business. For its part, the Spanish group Boluda strengthens its position in France and becomes the world leader in maritime towing services. This merger will allow Les Abeilles to benefit from the support of a major player in its future development.
