Eight Advisory completed Meridiam’s financial and tax buy-side due diligence on the acquisition of a majority stake in Voltalis

Voltalis is a company specializing in the elimination of electricity consumption by private individuals. Their connected boxes allow energy savings of 15% for individuals, by cutting off for very short periods of time certain electrical installations in the home.

Meridiam, a fund dedicated to infrastructure, thus becomes the majority shareholder of Voltalis. Voltalis is aiming for a fleet of one million boxes by 2024, half of which will be sold outside France. The relationship with Meridiam will also expand the range of services offered to users, such as batteries and recharging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
